So how’s this for a mid week treat – a Summer Beach Party at Belfast’s oldest market with our three great tasting ciders.
It couldn’t really get any better!
Belfast is buzzing with tourists right now so this will give them such a real experience of our burgeoning food and drink scene.
Sarah is heading to St George’s Twilight Market which takes place tonight and tomorrow evening with our Traditional Dry Cider, Medium Cider and Plum and Ginger.
With the city buzzing and everyone itching to leave work we can’t wait to see the crowds coming in.
We love being at St George’s Market. When there are chefs doing lots of cooking demonstrations, there’s lots of laughter, live music, lots more drink producers and foodies having great craic, it’s a great atmosphere.
Last year 46,000 people visited St George’s. It’s so accessible and a lot of people travel into Belfast on public transport so they can enjoy this current of creativity which shines through our food and drink offering.
Northern Ireland’s growing food and drink culture continues to impress local people as well as our visitors, journalists, food critics and bloggers who love to taste, write about their experiences and blog through their social channels.
There’s a real focus on taste, a focus on sustainability, curiosity in terms of provenance and people certainly love hearing about the journey of the apple when it comes to how we produce our great cider varieties.
We too are looking forward to tasting the treats from local restaurants and saying hello to other food and drink producers.
This week’s Twilight Market’s summer beach party will have something to suit everyone so make sure and come and sample our ciders. We will be across from the Tanqueray Bar which is under the restaurant in the market.
This is the second Twilight Market of 2017. The ‘Summer Beach Party’ which will be open today, August 1 and Wednesday, August 2 from 4pm – 11pm.
All of the Twilight Market events are strictly over 18s after 9pm due to licensing laws.
