At Mac Ivors, we are first and foremost fans of local scene and the remarkable artists who shape it. In June 2024, we launched our Homegrown initiative with the goal of giving back to the immensely talented arts community across the island of Ireland. These events, held in your favourite bars and venues, shine a spotlight on some of the very best talent in comedy, music, theatre, and visual arts. As a toast to our valued customers and a tribute to the arts, we’re dedicated to hosting events you won’t want to miss. We look forward to seeing you there!

PAST EVENTS
The Homegrown events have celebrated incredible local talent across Ireland, from Galway to Enniskillen to Belfast. Highlights include unforgettable nights at iconic venues like The Sunflower in Belfast, Massimo in Galway’s West End, and Blake’s of The Hollow in Enniskillen. These events have shone a spotlight on emerging artists, with powerful moments captured by local photographers and videographers—showcasing the vibrant creativity of each community.

MONDAY NIGHTS AT THE PAVILION
We are delighted to sponsor Belfast’s longest running comedy night at The Pavilion bar, Belfast. Led by compere Luke McGibbon, Monday Night Comedy offers punters a chance to see some of the best up and coming comedians on the scene cut their teeth. Monday Night Comedy isn’t just any Open Mic, with frequent specials features such as Roast Battles and Joke Thieves.
