Life Update – Mac Ivors Cider in 2021
It’s been too long, almost a year in fact!! So it’s time to bring you guys up to speed on all things Mac Ivors Cider, a little life update for 2021.
2021 has had its twists and turns but we are thrilled now to see bars and restaurants reopening. Sarah has missed dropping into them and catching up on the craic! One positive consequence of the past year has been seeing an emphasis being placed on provenance and locality. Ireland is home to the best produce in the world, and customers taking the time to taste and enjoy local foods, drinks, & crafts has been great to see! We appreciate every single customer for taking the time to try our ciders. It has helped us through the most difficult time.

New stockists
We had a busy year and were absolutely thrilled to secure nationwide distribution of our ciders in Dunnes Stores Ireland. Our Traditional Dry, Plum & Ginger and Alcohol Free Ciders are in stores now. We continue to grow sales through SuperValu stores nationwide, as well as in O’Briens Wines, Joyces Galway and Tesco too. Having these guys selling our ciders throughout Ireland has been a huge help towards getting more customers to try our delicious Irish ciders! And of course the wonderful independent off licences and premises, always making sure the best of the best is on the shelves for customer satisfaction!
Limited editions coming soon
Greg has been busy behind the scenes doing some interesting (and VERY tasty) experimenting with barrel ageing!! So keep an eye out this Autumn for some amazing limited edition ciders! Harvest 2021
We are also getting ready for another busy harvest season, our resilient apples had a tough time with late Spring frosts but those tough Armagh apples are looking good. Harvest will begin in a couple of weeks, so plenty more apples for your favourite ciders!
