A massive thanks to everyone who shared a pint of Mac Ivors with us this year! Whether you discovered us at a festival, in a bar, or over a quiet evening at home, your support has helped make 2025 another brilliant year. So much has happened but we have a few highlights we want to mention.
One of the standout moments of our year has been expanding our Homegrown initiative. Homegrown is a celebration of incredible local talent across Ireland’s arts scene, showcasing live music, comedy, theatre, and visual arts. This year, in addition to hosting our own gigs across Ireland, we were proud to have our own stage at Stendhal Festival, providing a unique space to enjoy creativity and culture alongside a refreshing pint of Mac Ivors cider.
We also navigated a tricky apple harvest in County Armagh, which you can read more about here. But at the end of it we ended up with plenty of fresh apples to turn into our delicious cider that you know and love.
This year also saw the launch of our newest cider, Ruby Black. It’s a vibrant addition to the Mac Ivors range, standing out with its bold, distinctive taste. Crafted by blending our signature cider with rich blackcurrant juice and a subtle hint of mint, Ruby Black offers a refreshing twist! This unique combination makes it the perfect new member of the Mac Ivors family and giving cider lovers another way to enjoy our orchard’s finest apples.
Another highlight this year was spending time with the Armagh Rhymers during Samhain, celebrating tradition, creativity, and community in true Orchard County spirit. Their storytelling, music, and rich cultural heritage brought the orchard to life, reminding us of the deep connection between cider, local customs, and the people who make our region so special.
There were so many other incredible moments this year - and what we’ve shared here is really just scratching the surface! From orchard milestones to exciting events and everything in between, 2025 has been full of flavour, laughter, and community.
