THE Big Grill Festival is back!!
This is the ultimate international BBQ festival and competition and it’s not to be missed.
It is going to be packed to the rafters with people who come to support this international feast of food and drink.
This is a major event in Ireland’s food and drink calendar as crowds will come to Herbert Park, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 from August 17 through to August 20 – four days of tasting, smelling and eye watering eating competitions.
This internationally renowned festival will bring highly regarded chefs like Robin Gill, Neil Rankin and Andy Ricker to barbecue and our taste buds are going wild already.
The smell will be insane as chefs will be cooking on live fire using natural charcoals and wood only – none of this gas or electricity nonsense. Just good old fashioned barbecuing.
With so much food to sample, food challenges, workshops and speakers this is one event where the crowds work up a quare thirst.
There’ll be hot wing, chilli and burger challenges, talks and demos, a whole cow feast and a Just Eat Waiter Service and much more.
Just feast your eyes on this.
So, Pedro’s going to be in good company as we join a whole host of amazing producers, brewers and chefs. We’ll be joining The White Hag, Dingle Gin, Porterhouse Brewing Co, Wicklow Brewery and so many more.
Sarah and Greg will be there with our Traditional Dry Cider, Medium Cider and Plum and Ginger Cider. You know you’ll be thirsty so some along and taste our award winning ciders which will be sold at our stand in the main craft beer and cider tent.
And, as is now the tradition, our fifth generation apple grower will be bringing some well-seasoned Armagh apple wood to help flavour the delicious chicken in roasted above the fires of ‘Fowl Play’ and we are always willing to trade our apple wood for tasty morsels from any barbeque pit.
With Live DJ sets belting out the tunes, smoke rising up in the air and an international party atmosphere this is a festival not to be missed. Herbert Park will be the place to be.
And guess what – you can even bring the wee ones as there’ll be a kids area too.
What’s not to love?
So, come and experience four days of food and drink heaven where you’ll be able to wash down smoked food with the taste of our ciders produced in our orchards in Ireland’s apple capital. We look forward to having a swig with you.
