It’s that time of year again – it’s the RDS Craft Beer Fest
IRELAND’S largest celebration of Irish craft brewing returns to Dublin’s RDS this weekend and we will be there for our fourth year running.
This year’s Irish Craft Beer Fest will be bigger and better than ever before with fabulous Irish artisan food, over 300 beers, ciders, whiskeys and a few cocktails – many which are only available at this fest.
So from September 8-10, we will be in the middle of hundreds possibly thousands of artisan food and drink producers.
Ireland’s largest craft beer event will host over 50 breweries and cider makers. More than 300 Irish-produced beverages will be available to attendees this year. Additionally, Logan Plant’s Beavertown and Odell’s Brewery from the USA are also participating.
Visitors will be granted unlimited access to brewers, festival-exclusive brews, and master classes featuring Irish top chef, Kevin Dundun and the master of craft in the United States, Doug Odell.
The Independent Irish Craft Beer symbol will also be introduced during the festival. It offers reassurance to consumers that the beer they are buying is from an independently-owned, small-scale microbrewery as recognised by Revenue, and that the brewer has complete ownership of the brand.
Last year, more than 12,000 visitors came to the Irish Craft Beer Festival. Given the record number of breweries and cider makers set to attend, a record turnout is expected for this year.
Events include panel discussions with O’Brien’s Wines, Beer and Spirits, food pairings and master-classes.
